I Just Completely Lost My Mind Upon Seeing Zara's Latest Shoe Drop

Oh. My. God. It's rare I have that moment when shopping online. Remember, I'm looking for the most amazing pieces all day every day, and one can suffer some sort of virtual basket exhaustion. But just now, literally no more than 15 minutes ago, I was floored at my desk when I casually hopped onto Zara.com to check out the latest goods. There is a lot to be distracted by, but it was the megalith's new-in shoe section that started screaming LOOK AT ME over the internet.

These boots, heels and party shoes are quite astounding—I'd go so far as to say you're about to see Zara's most experimental, runway-worthy footwear collection to date. Feathery details on pointed satin heels, mules topped with a velvet bow. Scrunchy knee-high boots that some designers wouldn't even be daring enough to create… I think I need to stop writing and start showcasing.

Keep reading to see—and shop (duh)—the knockout Zara shoes that look way, way beyond their high-street price tags.

Just the best party shoes we've seen, with the best kind of heel height for dancing.

A real homage to Balmain, we love the velvet in this green colour. Wear with a luxe tux for a different take on Christmas party dressing.

Red boots are everywhere this season, and we're loving the heel height on this pair—perfect for running around town at the weekends.

A great nod to Dior here, the bow, tartan and flash of yellow all work incredibly well together.

This rich berry colour looks super luxe in patent.

I mean, there are no words. Feathers + sequins + beading = all the things party shoes should have.

The pretty detailing on these pumps would look great with mum jeans and a silk blouse.

These have got disco queen written all over them.

You'll wear these all of the time. Perfect with dresses, denim, smart trousers and longer maxi skirts.

These will toughen up any pretty party dress.
