The Coat Trend That's Taking Over London Fashion Week

It's an old British trope to constantly complain about the weather and while we try not to play into stereotypes, we have to say the climate during London Fashion Week has been something else. With Storm Dennis making its way across London there has been much wind and rain to contend with, though that hasn't stopped attendees from putting on a brave face and making their way to the shows.

In fact, though we have yet to see the sun since LFW started on Friday, several showgoers have taken matters into their own hands and brought a little sunshine with them in the form of bright yellow coats.

While there have been quite a few yellow coats around, the most popular iteration has been a quilted version by Swedish brand Rodebjer. We first noticed it at Copenhagen Fashion Week back in January, when it was worn by both the ever-stylish Alyssa Coscarelli and Dutch model Vera van Erp. The coat's popularity has only risen at London Fashion Week, as we have spotted it on several showgoers over the last few days.
