My Favourite Stylish Women Just Told Me What's on Their Autumn Wish Lists

As I type, the weather outside my window has gone from sunshine to torrential rain in less than an hour. It hasn't been over 20 degrees in a week and I actually had to put the heating on this past Thursday. Granted, I do live in the north of England so you'll forgive me then for what I'm about to say: I'm very much looking forward to autumn. Of course, with autumn comes some new wardrobe looks—I should caveat here that it doesn't have to be new items, but rather a chance to style new outfits.

For me, the colder months are great because you can transition a lot of your summer pieces by doing the thing that every fashion editor loves to talk about: layering. That said, there are always a few pieces that I like to invest in come the new season, namely boots and coats. I decided to ask what some of our coolest fashion friends on Instagram are looking forward to wearing this coming autumn and they delivered four fun and chic wishlists.

There is something wonderful about seeing what other people want for their wardrobes. It represents their personality but it also introduces you to new brands you might not have come across before. Here, all four women I spoke to gave me some great variety in terms of brands and ideas for outfits for the coming season. From a checked suit that Franny Fyne's got her eye on to a beaded bag from Ganni selected by designer Astrid Wilson, there was also an incredible pair of boots on Carrie Anne's wishlist. As for influencer Yatri Pabari, where do I start with her selection of super chic minimalist pieces? You can see all the above gems and more, all you need to do is keep scrolling.
