We always enjoy the process of compiling a chic selection of ladies for our What Was She Wearing story, but we are exceptionally giddy about today's assortment. London Fashion Week and recent events in New York City provided ideal settings for our treasured style muses to show off their fabulous taste, and, as per usual, they inspired many of our wonderful readers. Read on for all of the wardrobe specifics!

Alexa Chung
Coffee in hand, Alexa Chung made it through her rigorous runway (and party) schedule during London Fashion Week with the aplomb of a full fledged fashion editor. Our lovely subscribers sent requests for all of the impeccable outfits she sported, but we're particularly taken with the attire she wore to the House of Holland S/S 09 show. Chung's crisp white shirt is from Freemans Sporting Club ($42, 212.673.3209) in New York while her pants are the Exposed Zip Skinny Jeans ($80) from Topshop in London. Unfortunately, they are not available in black online, so if you don't have a Topshop store near you, check out the ready-to-ship Drainpipe Jeans ($90). She also wore a vintage Aquascutum Blazer, carried the aforementioned Mulberry Shimmy Bag ($1195, 888.685.6856), slipped into Moschino Cheap and Chic Interlace Sandals ($501). As for her other accessories, Chung's jewellery is by Mawi and her Silk Spot Scarf ($250, 212.254.3530) is by Paul Smith. Since Chung's blazer is vintage and her shoes are a bit pricey, you may substitute them with Banana Republic's Tweed Jacket ($175) and Steve Madden's Dionne Booties ($130).

Taylor Momsen
Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen is sporting a striking new hairdo these days and she appears to have updated her personal style to match her chic platinum locks. Pictured above at the viewing of Ponahalo Diamonds in NYC last month, Momsen soaked up the glamour by wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier Off-The-Shoulder Dress ($575), Miu Miu Boots, and a JJ Winters Envelope Clutch ($309) in purple. We urge you to check out DKNYC'S Erlinda Boots ($275) as a budget-friendly substitute to Momsen's footwear choice.

Daisy Lowe
Daisy Lowe and the rest of her trendsetting posse offer an extraordinary amount of inspiration to readers through their outfits. She is always clad in something interesting, so we are naturally accustomed to style stalking her on your behalf. Lately your curiosity was piqued by the fashionable get-up Lowe wore to Vivienne Westwood's S/S 09 Show, so we happily utilised our detective skills to track down the details! Lowe layered Vivienne Westwood's Don't You Ever Kiss Me Once, Kiss Me Twice Cotton Top ($80) from S/S 08 over PPQ jeans and strapped on a pair of the designer's iconic Pirate Boots ($807). (Dolce Vita's Katie Belted Flat Boots ($275) make a killer alternative.) Lowe stayed cosy in a long grey vintage sweater, but we favourably suggest Theory's Jake Cardigan ($375) as a replacement. She finished her ensemble by carrying a Louis Vuitton bag from F/W 08 to hold all of her fashion week needs. Sadly, it is no longer available, but the designer's Damier Canvis Trevi Handbag ($1650) is another stylish option.

Kirsten Dunst
Kirsten Dunst was all smiles at the Saturday Night Live after party in New York City last month. We expect the source of her radiance to be in part a result of the exemplary attire she was wearing. Dunst tucked a Marc Jacobs (A/W 06) bowtie blouse into a pair of Oak Jeans ($90) and chose an oversized biscuit-coloured Jill Stuart Jacket for outerwear. The final polish of her outfit came from a winning pair of Christian Louboutin New Nantucket Heels that she picked up a few seasons ago. You can emulate Dunst's outfit with Mink Pink's Secretary Bow Blouse ($57), a Wool Blazer ($80) from the Gap, and Wild Stella Sandals ($50). -Jessica Amento
