The memorial service took place yesterday, 16 February 2023.

The impact of Vivienne Westwood on the fashion world is indefinable. From the punk era that arose from political and economic unrest, the link between fashion and activism has always been intertwined in her work. Westwood's designs have become recognisable through the play on British heritage, notably the use of tartan fabrications, Victoriana corsetry and deconstructed tailoring. These design traits, along with her brand's iconic orb logo, were spotted on many of the attendees who took the opportunity to celebrate Westwood's legacy in wearing her designs.

Here, we've highlighted the attendee outfits that exemplify the impact that Vivienne Westwood has, and will continue to have, over the fashion world.
