Last night at the National Portrait Gallery gala, the Duchess of Cambridge spent the evening with fashion royalty, including Vogue's Edward Enninful, Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss. Kate (Middleton, that is) re-wore her 2017 Baftas Alexander McQueen floral tiered gown, however updated it for 2019 by altering the off-the-shoulder neckline to a square neck with pretty capped sleeves.
We would have thought that Victoria Beckham would be the last person at the event to try this season's neon trend, however, instead of wearing her usual black fitted evening gowns, she opted for a pair of baggy black trousers, tapered at the ankle, with a pair of highlighter pink stiletto court shoes with black low-dernier tights underneath. She paired her trousers with a white billowing blouse with exaggerated sleeves tucked into the high waistband and a black satin clutch bag, keeping the focus solely on her electric pink pumps.
