Victoria Beckham Just Gave the Green Light to This Novel Trend

When it come to accessories Victoria Beckham tends to keep it conservative, designing—and therefore wearing—elegant, streamlined black leather tote bags and clutches. This makes it perhaps all the more surprising that VB has been spotted with a clutch under her arm that could also pass as one of Harper Beckham's fuzzy teddy bears. 

Victoria is in New York this week presenting her Pre Fall 2017 collection, and as ever she has been the first to debut her new pieces. She was photographed en route to the presentation dressed head-to-toe in the collection, wearing a blue and white graphic striped skirt and top and a pair of white V-neck pumps. But it is in her handbag department where Victoria is making the biggest style departure with her new line, as she is clearly championing furry totes and clutch bags for next winter, but wearing them now!

You'd be forgiven for thinking that a fluffy teddy bear bag is a novelty item to be left for tweens, but VB shows that they can look surprisingly elegant and luxurious when mixed in with smart workwear. And Victoria isn't alone with her thing for fluffy handbags, as It label Staud is making waves with its Deneuve faux-fur bag.
