Designer and fashion mogul Victoria Beckham teamed up with Burberry’s long-standing creative chief Christopher Bailey to be the first two patrons of Graduate Fashion Week. (Victoria's second son, Romeo Beckham, is typically the Beckham family member to collaborate with Bailey!)
"It is so important to support and mentor young people, and GFW provides an essential platform for them at this important time in their life," said Beckham. "I'm delighted to be joining Christopher Bailey."
Last night, the Houses of Parliament played host to a catwalk show displaying graduate work, with the two newly appointed patrons supporting the initiative from the FROW, Vogue reported today.
Christopher Bailey showcased his own early work at Graduate Fashion Week in 1991, a personal detail that can't have been overlooked prior to his appointment at GFW.
