After spending an inordinate amount of time on Instagram (because what else was there to do this month?), I discovered that there are a few high-street items that influencers have nabbed and look incredible. However, I haven't just put everything in that's trending—I've kept it to items I genuinely love and could imagine wearing now and well into next year. There's that & Other Stories oversized blazer that continues to be a staple of plenty of influencers' wardrobes, a pair of fun pink trousers and a white top from Topshop that you'll get so much wear out of this summer. There's also a very chic knitted hoodie and sweatpants co-ord that will serve you well, especially if you're spending a lot of time at home. Plus plenty more pieces too. While I wouldn't suggest to go out and splash the cash on everything you've been eyeing up this month, there are a few trending summer offerings that I think are worth investing in. Ready to meet your new favourite items? Keep scrolling…
Style Notes: Okay, so this & Other Stories cardigan sold out almost immediately, but there are plenty of others from the store that are still available. My favourite colour is an off-white/cream hue that's ideal for wearing with blue jeans.
Style Notes: Need a wardrobe perk-me-up? Pink trousers might just be the way forward. Wear all summer with basic black or white vest tops and simple sandals.
Style Notes: We've not stopped banging on about this blazer. Yes, it is that good. And yes, everyone does look super chic in it.
Style Notes: Basic vests are selling out everywhere right now. Why? Well, quite simply, they go with everything. Always worth having one in your wardrobe, especially during the summer.
Style Notes: Thanks to the '90s minimalism trend taking off this year, ribbed cardigans are back on fashion's agenda. Chic with high-waisted jeans or your favourite mini skirt. Sassy.
Style Notes: Yes, Bermuda shorts are big this year but we're starting to see short shorts trending too. This pair worn by Lucy Williams are perfect for wearing around the house in the summer.
Style Notes: Even if you're not going anywhere other than your garden, balcony or lounge, there's still a call to have a decent summer dress on hand.
