This Best-Selling Toteme Knit Is Back, and Now I Want All 4 Colours

In fashion, you know something is a sound investment when you see it being worn year after year, and that's certainly the case with Toteme's striped sweater. First released in 2019, the jumper sparked a Breton-knitwear movement that hasn't slowed in the slightest over the past three years. As we head into winter, Instagram's finest have begun digging out their Toteme originals in preparation for the colder temperatures. But what is it that makes this particular knit so special?

While I'm yet to invest in it myself, I have seen it first-hand, and I can confirm it's essentially a style trifecta: It's ageless, versatile, and premium-looking. Of course, it should look premium—it's designer, and the price reflects that, but even I, someone who is famously stingy with their money, can see it is a worthy investment. In addition to the impressive qualities listed above, it's also got an incredibly chic silhouette, with just the right amount of oversizing. The wide sleeves and high neckline set it apart from other striped sweaters on the scene, making it all the more covetable.

Toteme's striped sweater now comes in four chic colourways.

Initially, the Toteme striped sweater came in two variations: a cream-and-black, with the cream being the dominant hue, and then the reverse. Both of these styles are still available. New for 2023, however, is a deep khaki-and-cream colourway and a sandy hue, too.

In a testament to its versatility, below, I've assembled a handful of ways influencers are styling their Toteme striped sweaters this season, along with all four colours for you to consider. Then, continue on to see other striped knitwear options that I love for 2023.
