This Polarising Styling Idea Is Causing a Right Ol' Debate in Our Office

Wearing tights in winter is hardly a groundbreaking styling move, until this winter when the Scandi Instagram set started experimenting with some slightly bizarre hosiery. We saw floral versions (a £7 pair from H&M has proved rather popular) and polka-dots at Stockholm and Copenhagen Fashion Weeks, but it's the use of colour that really has us divided. The likes of Emili Sindlev and Pernille Teisbaek have been wearing tights that match the colour of their shoes—it elongates the legs, yes, but also looks slightly cartoonish… some would argue.
