It’s no secret that Target collaborations garner a lot of buzz. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that most recently, it was Lilly Pulitzer for Target that sold out instantly—going on eBay for more than double the price in some instances. While we’ve loved all the collaborations to date, each in their own way, they got us thinking: What if we could choose the next one?
And choose we did! While we don’t know how much actual impact our dream collaborations will have on Target’s next move, we had the amazingly talented Laura Kay of Diary Sketches illustrate them anyway!

“Boho? Budget? Breezy? Bags? Boots? You feel me? If Chloé and Target did a collab, I'd be able to dress like the ultimate bohemian babe without going broke (well, too broke). In my dream world, it'd launch around springtime so I could frolic around in the breezy dresses but also stock up on staples like ankle boots and a cross-body bag for fall.
“Can you even imagine an affordable Prada line? Heaven. While the thought of getting my hands on any signature Miuccia Prada silhouette is epic, the shoe offering is what I'd be most excited about—those irreverent, quirky, but forward-feeling heels and flats for a fraction of the price? Done.” –Bobby Scheussler, Senior Editor
“ I would be the happiest person ever if Preen did a line for Target. Their prints and silks are to die for and every season I grow more and more obsessed with their dresses! They’re the perfect combination of feminine and cool." –Nicole Akhtarzad, Associate Style Editor
“Since I have yet to figure out a way to buy their $800 sandals, I would totally camp out for a Gianvito Rossi x Target collaboration. While all their shoes are incredible, their sandals especially are the perfect blend of cool and alluring.” –Kat Collings, Editorial Director
“I would love a Balenciaga x Target collaboration that covers their greatest hits--under Nicolas Ghesquiere and now under Alexander Wang, the brand's strange union of classic shapes and futuristic detail has always appealed to me. I would love it if they recreated one of those crazy, colourful architectural dresses—I’m not even a dress person, but who wouldn't want to rock that for day?” –Jessica Schiffer, Fashion Features Editor
