The 30 Best New-In Shopping Pieces, Divided Up Into Today's It Colours
Colour is always a key theme in our spring trends report whatever the year, however, in 2019 the colours that are dominating are both flattering and elegant, meaning they are set to really define the season. The five colours that we think will resonate most are already flooding new-in sections, so you don't need the weather to change to start incorporating them into your wardrobe.
Sage green and beige are the two colours that dominated the catwalks for spring/summer 2019, however, bright pinks, purples and a specific dusty midnight blue are other shades that we also really want to buy into. Many of these colours, such as beige, sage and midnight blue, work like neutrals, are so easy to blend with other colours and will go with most of the items in your wardrobe. 1. Purple

Purple might not sound like the most obvious colour choice for a tonal outfit, but clearly Instagram's most stylish think otherwise. From pastel-hued lilac to full-on violet, this royal shade has been spreading like wildfire across our favourite feeds, including Ellie from Slip into Style, who has opted for a purple suit and mid-height black boots. Oh so '80s, in the best way possible.

2. Sage Green
You can't talk about trending colours in 2019 without mentioning green—from neon to puke, olive to lime, new-in sections are bombarded with 50 shades of green. The most popular shade is a more muted sage, which you can buy in everything from handbags to cardigans. We also love the sage bras from COS, which show that everything looks good in this colour.
