We Might Start a Petition to Bring These 5 Sold-Out High-Street Items Back

When shopping on the high street in this Instagram age, good things don't come to those who wait, as items can sell out within hours (if not minutes of a re-stock alert). While we love talking about new collections, we can be just as excited by a re-release. This summer we have written countless stories about sold-out high-street items, however there are some that are so good we are almost considering starting a petition to bring them back. Trying to buy a viral item can be a tad tiring, and so if we were in charge of the high street, these are the items that we would bring back for good.

Leopard print midi skirts are arguably the most in-demand item this season, and & Other Stories' £59 midi has been the most popular.

The Topshop polka-dot dress has so much hype that I'm surprised it doesn't have its own Wikipedia page. First released in March, it has been re-stocked numerous times and has been released in several more prints. But we think the original could still make one last appearance.

We keep spotting Zara's caged black £50 sandals this fashion month, so it's no surprise that they are now sold out. Can we request you bring them back in black, gold and white Zara?

This square neck midi dress from COS is a little older than the other pieces on our list, as it was from last summer's collection. However, this is one that got away for at least two people on our team.

Next up, see our guide to nine new-in pieces to buy this week.
