Sienna Miller Just Wore the Classy Coat Trend I Always See in Paris

I'm yet to pinpoint what we did to deserve this, but over the past week we've had not one, not two but three (!) sightings of Sienna Miller to stock up our outfit inspiration just before the holiday break. First, we were graced with a cutesy babydoll dress, then a fashion-forward evening look from it brand Nensi Dojaka, and now we've received a cosy coat ensemble that comes with french-girl approval. All in all, our style inspiration needs have been well and truly satiated.

Sienna stepped out in a monochromatic ensemble that consisted of a houndstooth coat by french brand Sézane, and like many of her choices, this was exactly on trend and unexpected. Though houndstooth coats have dropped off the radar in recent years, this classic pattern has been seen all over the streets of Paris in recent months, reclaiming its sartorial status as a true classic. It's also not the first time that the style icon has turned to this particular french brand for a chic je-ne-sais-quoi look. Previously, Sienna opted for a soft grey jumper, white jeans and lace-up boots to achieve an effortlessly chic look. The brand to know is Sézane, a French brand born from a love of vintage and timeless pieces that can be worn forever. The collections withstand moving trends as their luxurious pieces are capsule staples that will benefit any wardrobe they meet.

In true icon style, Sienna has identified that houndstooth coats are having a moment right now, and combined the trending piece with sleek knee-hight boots. Finishing the look, Sienna opted for classic accessorising with sunglasses and a structured bag so add a sophisticated edge. Sticking to a monochromatic silhouette adds to the timeless feel of the entire outfit, and proves the true staying-power of classic wardrobe pieces.
