The Shoes and Boots I've Added to My Wardrobe Over the Past Month

As someone who is in between clothes sizes and has an irritatingly not-right-for-any-store kind of curvy, petite figure, it's probably no surprise that my biggest vice is shoes. I'm scared to count how many I actually own, but I think around the 300 mark wouldn't be an entirely OTT estimate. What's more important than the number, though (back me up here), is the fact that I get lots of wear out of almost all of the footwear I have bought over the years. I religiously get new pieces seen to by a cobbler (key to getting rubber soles put into leather soles for example, as your shoes will last longer), and I try to ensure that I buy only comfy heels, which means there are a lot of midi and kitten heels in my repertoire. I don't mind buying high street (although I know now where to go for the best quality affordable shoes), but I'm more likely to invest bigger bucks into a pair of designer boots than I am an It bag any day of the week.

So if you're a fellow shoe fanatic this is the shopping gallery to keep checking in on. Scroll to shop the shoes—from sandals to mules, courts to boots—I'm buying/obsessing over/adding to my wishlist…

I couldn't  help it—these OTT Marni shoes were calling my name.

I'd been shoe-stalking Jessie Bush and noticed she wore these DMs on repeat—they were SO hard to track down as many sizes are sold out almost everywhere, but I did it.

Yuul Yie is one of my favourite shoe brands, and everything about these red mules makes me happy—I wore them to Who What Wear UK's Christmas party, but they'll be just as great next spring. They also come in white and nude—I'd say the nude is a great leg-lengthening investment.

Shoes for women: Black suede knee boots from Sezane

Trust the French to make the most perfect black, suede knee-high boots. These pull-on babies are from Sézane, and they're only going to get better the more worn and battered they are.

Shoes for women: Ganni white bow slingbacks

The Sabine slingbacks have been around for a while, but they really are great work shoes to still invest in. And the white ones are on sale right now.

I don't want to sound greedy, but you can never have enough black shoes.

If I ask really nicely, can I please have two pairs of leopard-print shoes?

Marant is the queen of suede boots, and these are the latest addition to her collection—a love-forever purchase. Just use suede protector, please.

I have these in a different colourway and they are SO comfortable.

I'm not a trainers person, but these are just really fun.

After years of disliking red footwear, I'm now all in.

If you're going to do cowboy boots, commit to the trend.

From the colour to the strappiness to the heel height, these have spring 2019 written all over them.

If I'm ever going to be tempted into flats, then these might do it.

Coco is back and now in sumptuous purple velvet and satin—I cannot resist.
