It’s been a busy week for Selena Gomez. The 27-year-old singer has released not one but two new singles and has also been spotted out and about in New York promoting her latest work. Her stylist Kate Young k knows how to create an impactful promo tour wardrobe (she also works with Margot Robbie and Sienna Miller), and yesterday she dressed Selena in one of our favourite autumn outfits: a midi dress and over-the-knee boots.
While a simple dress-and-boots look might seem like an obvious choice given the current climate, Selena added interest to the outfit by opting for a dress with plenty of personality. The piece was pulled straight from the runway of Ganni’s S/S 20 collection and features a flattering square neckline and playful tiger print.
Although the dress itself is yet to be released, the much-loved Danish label has made quite a habit of creating chic animal-print midis, which means there are a few other iterations of the dress that you can already get your hands on.
To finish the look, Selena paired the statement dress alongside suede over-the-knee boots by French fashion house Celine. And although we have already declared that knee-high boots are having a big moment, Gomez has certainly solidified their status as this season’s go-to by proving they can be worn alongside any skirt length in your existing wardrobe. From midi to mini, fitted or A-line, knee-high boots are versatile enough to transition across several looks.
