These New-In Dresses Were the Talk of LFW
Out of all the London Fashion Week shows, it's fair to say that Rixo is one of the most hotly anticipated amongst editors and influencers alike. Judging by the presentations of previous seasons, you know that it's going to be a serious "moment," and the brand's latest offering did not disappoint.
Held in the grand ballroom of the Kimpton Fitzroy, Rixo presented its Christian Lacroix collaboration with models standing on an elevated runway clad in the multicoloured pieces, which referenced the iconic designer's throwback designs: Think checked skirt suits, coloured polka dots and print mash-ups aplenty. The setting matched the clothes with equal decadence with mounds of choux buns, pastries and fruits and flowers spilling off heaving tables. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
Strangely, the collection is available to buy online now, which is a move away from the traditional seasonal model and towards the see-now-buy-now approach. So, what are you waiting for? Scroll down to see snaps from the event and shop our edit.
