Milan's Coolest Girl, Patricia Manfield, Opens Up Her Fashion Week Wardrobe
With her signature constellation of beauty spots, an ever-present Italian girl squad on hand for memorable photo ops (they're often spotted strolling arm in arm), as well as her gig co-blogging at The Atelier with her very handsome boyfriend, the designer Giotto Calendoli, Patricia Manfield has fast become a firm street style star. The budding Milanese musician has become known for her significantly more laid-back approach to Italian fashion—it wouldn't be unusual to see ball gowns and towering heels at MFW, but this native is more likely to be captured in baggy trousers, a Vetements hoodie and chunky flat brogues. With a flash of tanned flesh and a pair of head-turning sunglasses, she never looks any less glamorous for the less conspicuous clothing choices.
So it's no wonder pre-loved designer site Vestiaire Collective were keen to sign up the star for the Milanese leg of their VC Fashion Tour—a monthlong project that sees one suitcase of four classic pieces travel from FROW to FROW, cool city to cool city, being styled individually by a sartorial leader from each of these locations. The luxury trunk started its journey from the e-commerce giant's HQ in Paris and has since touched down in New York, Berlin, Copenhagen, London and Stockholm.
See how Patricia styles these iconic items into new ensembles…
The VC Fashion Tour trunk includes: Burberry trench coat; Chanel breton top; Hermès Kelly bag; Yves Saint Laurent tuxedo jacket.
"To offset the handbag, I'm doing a double denim look here, along with a printed and fringed Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini coat." — Patricia Manfield
"The Burberry Trench already makes the look. I styled it with a hat to cover from the rain and the another iconic piece, the Gucci's Classic Leather Top Handle Bamboo Bag (£1440)." — Patricia Manfield
"As rock 'n' roll as it gets, wearing this top with jeans and a leather jacket is the way forward. I've also added a touch of silver with the one Louis Vuitton earring." — Patricia Manfield
"Black trousers and the black Yves Saint Laurent jacket worn with nothing underneath—I find this to be the sexiest thing a woman can wear." — Patricia Manfield
