From Kendall to Emily, Every Celebrity Owns a Pair of These Fashion Boots

Summer might just be coming to an end but, in an attempt to be sartorially organised, we're embracing autumn in a big way. We've already begun to fill our wardrobes with pieces that'll see us through the next few months in style. Knitwear is on stand-by, coats have been bookmarked, and we've been spending all of our free time researching key boot trends ahead of the inevitable cold snap. It seems, however, that we're not the only ones getting prepared for autumn, for countless celebrities and influencers have already snapped up boots from this cult-status brand.

If you're an avid Who What Wear UK reader, you'll likely have already heard of Paris Texas. This footwear brand creates beautiful knee-high boots which instantly became a hit with an A-List crowd, and have been worn by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski.

So, what's Paris Texas' backstory? The Italian label was founded in 2015 by sisters Annamaria and Margherita Brivio. Despite its name (the two cities were chosen to convey "the idea of contrasts," Paris being "sophisticated in style" and Texas having a "fun attitude"), the founders insist that every single component that makes up the label's shoes— from the soles to the buckles to the packaging— is sourced in Italy.

Paris Texas might headline in knee-high boots in a snake effect, but the brand's backless mules are proving equally popular with the street style set. "We really like eccentric details, like the diamanté on our mules. They make the simplest outfits look glamorous," say Annamaria and Margherita. "Our shoes can be worn with everything—from denim and a warm sweater to an evening dress."

Style Notes: Emily Ratajkowski is a member of the Paris Texas fan club. She wore the label's boots with stiletto heels for a party in New York and was spotted wearing the snake-print version of the same knee-highs during Milan Fashion Week in September 2018. This year, however, she's been wearing her red knee-highs religiously.

Style Notes: Sofia Richie wore the classic snake boots in the height of winter with a cosy scarf and beanie hat. These are a classic boot that will look good every year.

Style Notes: Chiara Ferragni barely took hers off last winter, and styled them with everything from midi dresses to chic tailoring. Our favourite look has to be her textured-knit–and–skinny-jean combination.

Eva Chen

Style Notes: Eva Chen has also given them her chic seal of approval. She has opted for the brand's classic brown mock-croc boots, which look their best paired with blue and burgundy hues.
