These Are Pantone's Spring 2018 Colour Predictions—We Like Them

The spring/summer 2018 shows have now wrapped up, and it's time for editors, buyers, stylists and other industry experts to start analysing the hundreds of thousands of looks that have sauntered down runways, appeared in lookbooks and popped up in presentations. One of the best places to start is looking at the colours that will blurt "Hi, I'm new" from across the street, and a fast-track method for doing this is to first consult the hues Pantone has predicted will prevail.




The company's colour-trend forecasting report rarely puts a chromatic step wrong, but I wanted to put it to the test. Just how many of the key new shades came to fruition on the catwalks of S/S 18?
