In my friend group, I've become the go-to person when anyone needs fashion, shopping, and styling advice. As a fashion editor, my heart sings when I get to help people feel good in their skin, so naturally, the same goes for my closest pals and family. Recently, a friend of mine was looking to do a little retail damage and update her wardrobe with elevated basic pieces and other pretty fashion finds. She asked for my advice on where to shop and what to buy. One thing about me is that I do not gatekeep, so I sent her all the pieces I've been eyeing at Nordstrom lately.

If you want a look into my brain and shopping cart, you're in luck. I've decided to highlight pieces on my shopping list while throwing in some transition weather-friendly gems. From gorgeous denim to cool accessories, you can expect a range of styles included ahead. Keep scrolling for some stylish shopping inspiration.
