I'm Ordering My Easy Spring Dresses From This Pretty New Collection

A week ago I had no desire to wear dresses. The weather was still hovering under 10°, it was raining most days and it was still dark at 6pm. Fast forward to this week, though, and pretty dresses are all I can think about. The clocks ‘springing’ forward is always my favourite time of the year, if only because I can so clearly feel my mindset shift from dark dreary days and nights in front of the TV, to the hopefulness that comes with finishing a day’s work and it still being light.

Okay, the weather might not being playing ball *quite* yet, but at least I don’t feel silly now planning for warmer days (it won’t be long, I promise!) And, of course, the Easter holidays are almost upon us, which always seems to be when I end up breaking out my first dresses of the season. So, when I saw one of my favourite dress brands, Nobody’s Child, launching a new premium collection of seriously pretty styles this week, I thought it was only right that I share the pieces with you, too.

Nobody’s Child has been a favourite of team Who What Wear UK for a good few years now, since their affordable dresses not only have sustainability front of mind, but they’re some of the most versatile, easy to throw on styles we’ve found on the market. It's also a brand I always end up recommending to my friends when they ask me for cute summer dress advice. This new collection uses more premium organic cotton, so it has a slightly higher price point, but nothing sits above £120. I’ve seen some of the pieces IRL at a preview earlier in the year and I can attest to how nice the quality is up close. The designs feel altogether more luxe and directional, with detailed embroidery and delicate broderie anglaise features, reminding me of something you might see from a boho Australian resortwear label (the Aussies are the best at dressing for sunshine, after all).

Whether, like me, you’re just on the lookout for some fresh spring pieces to breath life into your wardrobe for the warmer months, perhaps you’re after a dress that you can style for weddings as well as for weekends, or you’re lucky enough to be jetting off on holiday soon, keep scrolling to see my favourite pieces from Nobody’s Child’s pretty new NC Boutique line, and tell me it’s not getting you excited for summer...
