As someone who had a beach wedding of her own-I got married in Hawaii and it was amazing-I've personally dealt with people who had your exact same questions. The advice I gave my wedding guests still holds true and I'm happy to share it with you! First, you have to have a great pair of sunnies: that's just a necessity. You can always go with a classic aviator (I like a silver/grey version, personally), but I also adore a very summery and chic pair of square-frame sunglasses. As for your dress, stick to fancier fabrics, like silk chiffon or silk crepe, and go for a beautiful pop of colour; blues and greens are especially nice. A romantic watercolor print is another great choice, whether you go for a halter silhouette or a full-skirted tank maxi. You could also pair a simple tank with a formal floor-length skirt in a festive colour or stunning print-it's such a chic alternative to the traditional sundress. As for your shoes, I think you should stick to either a chic flat sandal, ideally in ametallic or bright colour, or a great wedge. Chloe always makes investment-worthy options, or you can go for something a little more budget-friendly, like the ShoeMint wedges we designed for April! As for the finishing touches, throw on a mineral or geode necklace, pick a textured clutch or small bag in a light colour, and grab a lace shawl or silk shrug for when the sun goes down, and you'll be set for this happy occasion! (One last note: if the ceremony takes place during the day, I suggest bringing a pretty paper parasol instead of a hat. They look so lovely and are an unexpected and fun accessory!)
