It’s an exciting time of year. The leaves are changing, fashion month is in full swing, and the TV networks are finally giving us a fresh crop of shows to look forward to after months of reruns and reality TV. It goes without saying that costumes are a crucial element in setting the tone of a show. And since some of our favourite dearly departed stylish shows (Gossip Girl and Mad Men, namely) are now a distant memory, we set out to uncover the best of the high-profile fall shows, sartorially speaking. And we think we succeeded.

Set in the early 1980s in Los Angeles, this stylised procedural focuses on the decade of decadence. With the glamour of the Sunset Strip as its backdrop, we’re looking forward to seeing the plethora of early ’80s style as much as we are the antics that Ed Westwick gets himself into.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s highly anticipated new series stars a slew of It girls, including Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, and Skyler Samuels. The show centres on Roberts as the queen of the most exclusive sorority at her university when students start getting murdered and all hell breaks loose.
