Recently, there has been a real shift in power with smaller emerging brands becoming big business for the likes of Browns, Net-a-Porter and Matches. So which are the names that we'll all be talking about in 2018? Below we bring you the brands that are set to call the shots this year, from the Scandinavian dresses that are guaranteed to make you smile to the new handbag name exploding on the street style scene. 1. Maria Piankov

Maria Piankov graduated from London College of Fashion in 2015, but her designs have quickly become an influencer favourite. We kept seeing her green patent coat during London Fashion Week.
London-based brand Worme has become the new outfitter for luxury holidays. It creates '70s-inspired luxe silk separates, such as kimonos, camis and trousers.
Amsterdam-based handbag brand, Wandler, launched in November of last year, and its first season is already being stocked at Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion and Browns. The Hortensia bag is already one of the biggest street style hits of the year. If you follow any fashion influencers on Instagram, chances are you've already seen it.
Nanushka was in fact founded back in 2005 by Sandra Sandor after she graduated from London College of Fashion, but 2018 is set to be a breakthrough year for the brand, which just dropped on Net-a-Porter and has suddenly become an Instagram sensation.
5. Ninety Percent
Ninety Percent launched in February of this year and is an elevated sportswear and basics brand you can be proud to wear, as it pledges to give 90% of its profits to charity.
6. Susan Alexandra
From practical basics to the most novelty accessory out there, designer Susan Alexandra creates handmade beaded bags in the happiest colours she can find. She sometimes adds mini strawberries and clementines on top to make them even more fun.
