21 Perfect Summer Staples You'll Wear Year After Year

Sponsor Content Created With Nasty Gal

Assembling a cool, versatile and expensive-looking but affordable wardrobe is anything but straightforward. It takes time, patience, dedication and an editor's eye to hand-pick such pieces whilst avoiding being sucked into an online shopping hole.

Nasty Gal has become something of a reliable affordable brand in recent years, with a fan base of loyal fashion types who wear its pieces on rotation. The brand started out life selling vintage pieces on eBay. Now, 14 years on, Nasty Gal has become a label with a focus on trend-led wares inspired by its vintage heritage. Its core summer 2021 collection is easily one of the strongest we've seen from the brand, so there's plenty of newness on the Nasty Gal site, including Plus, Non-Maternity Maternity and Petite categories, to enjoy. Now, we're not usually the type to pick favourites, but there is a particular edit that's recently caught our eye: its collaboration with model and stylist Jen Ceballos of Endlessly Love Club.

This is the third time the fashion brand has partnered with the IG star, and the collection features some incredibly impressive pieces. Paying homage to Ceballos's minimalist aesthetic and stripped-back style, the Nasty Gal x ELC edit ticks off all key summer classics, boasting everything from wide-leg trousers and bra tops to tie-waist details, timeless shirting, and effortless co-ords. Set in a palette of neutrals with hints of sage, burgundy and denim thrown in for good style measure, this hardworking capsule sits under Nasty Gal's recently launched All Things Considered initiative.

Most importantly, there's no expiration date for these items. With a focus on classic design, these are pieces you'll love and wear for seasons to come. We're also impressed by the collection's accompanying shoot, which sees Ceballos style up the pared-back pieces to seriously chic avail. So for a dose of style and shopping inspiration, scroll on to see some of the best buys from the collection, which we've peppered with some other top picks from Nasty Gal's mainline drop.

Bra tops are trending, but they will also be a handy layering piece for the future. Wear them with wide-leg denim for instant fashion cred.
