While my body may still be experiencing the harsh cold of winter, my mind is already immersed in all things spring—particularly the fashion. It's with this forward-thinking that I've already set about mentally creating our perfect springtime wardrobe. From the next sellout sandals to the prettiest swimwear, I'm quietly archiving my favourite pieces as I see them, which I'll then loop back around to when the weather changes.
There is, however, one brand which seems to have mastered the art of creating spring-appropriate pieces that you can start wearing right now. And that brand is Marks and Spencer.
Much to my delight, so many of the pieces I saw and loved at the Marks and Spencerspring/summer 2020 press day last year have already started to appear in its new-in section. From slick tailoring and luxe-looking skirts to the new It bag and It hue, good old M&S is ticking off top trends left, right and centre—and all on a relatively lean budget.
There are so many treats to be had that I've had to control myself, and in doing so, I've inadvertently created the ultimate springtime Marks and Spencer capsule. Keep scrolling to see my edit.
