I can't remember the last time all I bought in Marks and Spencer was just knickers and bras. Most recently, I bought a denim boilersuit that rapidly sold out (and which I get compliments on every time I wear it). It's also my go-to shop for stylish but easy-to-walk-in shoes (I maintain that these are the most comfortable heels you'll find on the high street).
I may be preaching to the converted, but M&S is knocking out fashion hit after hit right now. I'm not the only one who agrees, as according to one insider, there are three pieces that customers are loving. Rachel Sullivan, who's head of content for the brand, revealed on her Instagram account there are three standout items of the summer that have had the most positive reviews on the site: a blue polka-dot jumpsuit, a vegan-friendly bag and a pair of wedges.
Sure, they might be "boring" in that they're summer staples, but there's a reason they're so popular. All three items are versatile and will transcend seasons. The jumpsuit is great for the office and as a wedding-guest outfit, with Rachel revealing that customers who bought it said they loved the "the elasticated waist." The bag, which is only £15, comes in many colours (the one Rachel's wearing is sold out), but there's also navy and leopard print.
Finally, the wedges, which I'd earmarked a while back to shop for my holiday, are super comfy yet look very chic. Sadly, they're not available any more, such is their popularity, but there are plenty of other wedges available that are just as comfy.
