Several designer bags had a spot in the limelight this year—like the Chloé Drew purse and Lanvin Sugar bag—but according to Lyst’s new infographic, 2014 was the year of Mansur Gavriel’s bucket bag. The fashion marketplace based its findings on data gathered from over 35 million consumer visits to the site in 2014, and revealed that Mansur Gavriel’s beautifully crafted leather carrier was one of their most-viewed products. Other interesting tidbits? Shoppers loved shorter hemlines (miniskirts sold more than knee-length, midi, and maxi styles combined), but also appreciated comfort (the search for “boyfriend” styles shot up four times this year compared to 2013).
While Mansur Gavriel’s coveted bucket bag is sold out or backordered almost everywhere, we found one place where you can still shop it online! Scroll down to check it out, and see the rest of Lyst's fascinating infographic over at Racked.
