This Is Definitely Mango's Most Expensive-Looking Collection to Date

When it comes to finding expensive-looking high-street designs, Mango has always been our go-to. This month we got the chance to view the new summer collection in the flesh, and needless to say, it didn't disappoint. From printed midi skirts and gingham separates to silken shirts and well-cut trousers, the whole collection made us ache for warmer climes and longer days.

Out of the whole collection, we fell hardest for the accessories, which included plenty of shell detailing (yup, the trend is sticking around for 2019), anthracite bags, low-heeled earth-toned shoes and '70s-inspired sunnies—all of which could easily be mistaken for designer pieces, thanks to their luxe fabrics and chic colourways.

"I love that there's something for everyone: From the bohemian girl to the more conscious girl," says influencer and Mango Girl Tamu McPherson. "The Committed line is looking so good this season and has some great minimal pieces. I'm also into the '70s vibe and love the big square sunglasses and woven bags. There are so many great pieces that stopped me in my tracks."

The collection might be primed for sunshine, but the #MangoGirls have been out in force this February, styling up their new-season pieces in a way that feels distinctly wintry. There's plenty of clever layering: Think knee-high boots under midi skirts and wool coats over blazers, alongside a clear love for all things neutral. No doubt a sign of trends to come. Scroll down to see how our favourite influencers are wearing Mango's summer collection this February.

Style Notes: Tamu shows how to make a summer skirt work for colder weather: Her trick is to layer over knee-high boots and pair with a roll-neck knit and coat. So simple yet so effective.

Style Notes: We're enamoured by Chiara Totire's jacquard knit, which feels very Scandi-cool when paired with straight-leg jeans and brown Western-style boots. It would look great over a midi dress in summer, too.

Style Notes: Leia Sfez works the old jacket-under-coat trick in this cool ensemble. Her flares and white boots add a retro touch, while her classic tailored coat adds a polished finish.
