The much buzzed about February cover of Vogue featuring Girls scribe Lena Dunham hit the internet this morning. The verdict around the WWW office? Cute as heck. The full-figured Dunham (in a Burberry Prorsum S/S 14 blouse) marks a departure for the Anna Wintour-helmed publication whose covergirls usually seem to fall within the Size 0 and 4 range and it's perhaps worth noting that, much like the recent Elle cover featuring Mindy Kaling, the photo isn't full-body. Baby steps, we suppose.
Read the profile and see the fashion shoot featuring Dunham and co-star Adam Driver on Vogue.com. And be sure to check out this vintage 1998 Vogue interview with a then 11-year-old Dunham talking fashion. "I really like Jil Sander, but it's so expensive," muses the future star. "I find Calvin Klein really hard to respect because he's everywhere. I view him as a clothesmonger." Ha!
