Korea has been setting the agenda in the beauty industry for years, but Seoul's fashion is proving just as innovative as any given sheet mask right now. Not only are some of the most buzzed-about new brands coming from the capital (we've an epic rundown of the ones you need to know here), but its street style is genuinely exciting.
One of the biggest fashion bloggers on the planet, Irene Kim, is from Seoul, but she's not the only Korean Instagrammer who we think is worth keeping a close eye on. Not speaking Korean (guilty!), it can be tricky to find the best new fashion bloggers or K-Pop stars, however, after much research, we have succeeded in hunting down the best dressed girls in Seoul. And the best thing is that none of them dresses the same. While we love the French or Scandi uniform, Seoul is all about experimenting with statement pieces and individual styling—these girls shake up their look as much as they do their hair colour (which is, we've learnt, a lot). Scroll below to meet the seven Korean Instagrammers we are most excited about right now.
Korean-American Irene Kim is one of the world's most powerful influencers, with a cool 928K followers. Her hair never stays the same colour for longer than a week, and her style is just as changeable, but there's one thing that remains constant—her support of Korean designers.
Model @holly608 has 420k followers on Instagram, and she's one to follow for minimal looks with an edge. She is one of the street style darlings of Seoul Fashion Week and is seriously into her denim, often wearing it from head to toe.
Influencer and marketing expert @nizinanjjang is one of our favourite recent finds, and trust us, you'll go into an Instagram hole with her colourful, playful pictures. She has her own distinct style, with ladylike dresses, colourful accessories and experimental layering.
Influencer @mulbada has a fashion blog called Time to Wander—she has the most photo-worthy nails we have seen in some time (just take a look), but we also love how she mixes smart, tailored pieces with distressed denim.
Fashion blogger and model @enubi.eb might only have 20k followers, but she was a face of Marc by Marc Jacobs in 2015. She often sports skater, streetwear pieces and will often dress to match her bubblegum pink hair.
