It's no secret at this point that the powers that be over at Vogue have firmly planted their seal of approval on the entire Kardashian-West family. It was considered by many a major coup when the entire family scored a spread in the magazine. Anna Wintour has also spoken out in praise of the crew, and now André Leon Talley, the publication's contributing editor, has hopped on board the KimYe train.
Talley penned an essay for Zappos Couture entirely devoted to the Kardashian-Wests, in which he writes, "It's the new First Fashion Family: KimYe and Baby North. The three were a force of iconic moments as they pivoted around Paris, the mecca of fashion during the last fashion shows this month: the Nick and Nora Charles of our times, the Liz and Dick Burton, without the brawls."
There you have it: André Leon Talley, a legend in his own right, has dubbed the Kardashian-Wests the official first family of fashion. He then goes on to list more reasons why he thinks so, including but not limited to how they embody "new sexy, wearing high fashion with quiet fire."
