The Cult Brand Katie Holmes and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Are Obsessed With

You may not realise it, but you’ve almost definitely seen (and probably swooned over) something from fashion brand Khaite recently. The label is only six years old—practically a newborn when you pit it against other fashion houses—but that doesn’t mean Khaite is any less mighty. In fact, it has garnered a huge cult following, which includes some of our favourite celebrities and influencers.

It may or may not have been thanks to that cashmere bra-digan look that Katie Holmes broke the internet with back in 2019 (yep, that was by Khaite). Naturally, we became huge fans over here too, and since it landed on our radar, we’ve seen its pieces pop up consistently in our daily scrolling.

Since the first collection in 2016, the brand has focused on simple but certainly not boring styles that ooze understated sophistication including on-point tailoring, beautiful knitwear and out-of-the-ordinary silhouettes. Yes, it’s expensive, we know, and we apologise in advance for the wish list you’re about to make when you see more of the collection below. But these are pieces "to be cherished,” as the brand itself says. Khaite is not trend-led by shapes, material or colours—these are timeless items that look as expensive as they are.

Put it this way: If you bought the entire collection, it would be the perfect capsule wardrobe and you’d always look so put together. You’d probably never have to buy anything ever again—and we don’t say that lightly (you know how much we love shopping).

Somehow, the brand’s creative director, Catherine Holstein, seems to know exactly what we actually want to wear before we even realise it ourselves. Khaite hits the perfect balance between femininity and the practicality that comes from masculine dressing. Shirts are integral to the line but always have a pretty twist. Blazers are oversized, but the jeans hug in all the right places.

And we’re not the only ones who think so—you need only refer to Kendall Jenner’s latest outfit or peruse Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s social media for proof that Khaite has prevailed. Keep scrolling to see our favourite recent Khaite looks from celebs and influencers. Then shop some of the best bits from the current collection. Trust us—you won’t regret it.
