Aside from new baby Prince Louis' christening and a couple of visits to Wimbledon, Kate Middleton spent most of the summer out of the public eye for maternity leave, but fall has arrived and she's back. Middleton stepped out in London today for a visit to Sayers Croft Forest School, a children's activity centre. Per usual, her attire was perfectly appropriate for the (outdoorsy) occasion. She donned a cargo jacket, a sweater over a collared shirt, and two of her old favourites: Zara moto skinny jeans that she first wore back in 2016 and her beloved Penelope Chilvers boots that she was first spotted wearing way back in 2005. In fact, Middleton wore this exact jean-and-boot combination to a farm during May of 2017.
It all just goes to show that the duchess has stayed true to her signature style of the years, sticking to classic, polished pieces for even the most rugged of occasions, even if said pieces aren't particularly of the moment (case in point: moto skinny jeans).
Read on to see Middleton's first fall outfit of 2018 (well, in the public eye at least) and shop other classic fall pieces we think she'd adore.
