Kate Middleton Just Wore Our New Favourite Autumnal Colour Combination

The Duchess of Cambridge’s style is undeniably classic and she fills her closet with timeless wardrobe staples, but somehow we’re often still surprised by the looks she puts together. Whether an interesting colour combination (like last month’s khaki-and-maroon look) or an unlikely high-low pairing (she often wears Zara with designer accessories), the duchess is always trying new styles and subtle updates on classic outfit formulas.

A perfect example of this came today, when Kate attended the Shout's Crisis Volunteer celebration at Troubadour White City Theatre. For the event, the duchess opted for a single-breasted blazer by Smythe and paired the jacket alongside berry-coloured tailored trousers by Joseph. While we are certainly used to seeing the duchess in tailored blazers, the choice to match one alongside such brightly coloured trousers feels new.

Kate finished the look with a pair of Gianvito Pumps and accessorised with Mappin & Webb jewellery.

Most of the products in her look are currently available, but, unfortunately, Kate’s blazer is already sold out. The duchess—who often re-wears her favourite items time and time again—was seen in the Smythe blazer at an event last year, and as we know, everything Kate touches turns to sold.
