With some of the best shopping, dining, and coastal landscapes in the world, LA is essentially a big playground for adventurous types. So where should you go and what should you wear? Juicy Couture is giving you the opportunity to experience LA’s vast surroundings with help from its bright and effortless designs and blogger-curated city guides. Up next, DJ Lindsay Luv takes you to her favourite hotspots in Venice Beach.

Venice Beach and Boardwalk

You can't go west without making a stop at the beach! All of the California beaches are gorgeous in their own right, but Venice Beach really stands out because of its legendary surrounding boardwalk.

Venice Beach and Boardwalk

The long stretch is full of local artisans, tiny walk-ups shops, beachside bites, bike paths, outdoor gyms, skateboard parks, and of course, the random wild street performers.

GJELINA

Gjelina is simply one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles, and definitely the hottest spot in Venice Beach on Abbot Kinney. Reservations are hard to come by, so many locals opt to snag the perfect slice of pizza or a trio of sides at their adjoining Take-Away annex and plop down on a milk crate in the shady side-courtyard. Plus, the people watching is so Juicy!

N'ICE CREAM

N'ice Cream, a bustling gelato shop on Abbot Kinney, was voted one of Travel & Leisures’ “Best Desserts in the World," and boy they were not kidding!

N'ICE CREAM

On a hot beach day I love to grab a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles and hit the town!

Intelligentsia Coffee

The baristas behind Intelligentsia take their coffee trés seriously, as they fresh roast their beans daily in vintage German roasters and only offer a short list of the classics.

Intelligentsia Coffee

Don't expect to find a Pumpkin Spice Latte here!

Venice Canals

Beckoning from their Venice name, the idyllic waterways covering certain hidden neighbourhoods in town were originally built by Abbot Kinney himself to mimic those in Italy.

Venice Canals

I love to get lost on meandering walks along the arched bridges of the canals, watch painters capture the scene, or sneak a peak at a local paddling by in their canoe!

Editor-at-Large

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
