J.Lo Wore So Many Perfect Outfits This Year, Here's How to Recreate Them

Jennifer Lopez is an icon in so many ways— singer, actor, age-defying beauty— but it’s her fashion that we’re deep diving into today. Back in the late Nineties she championed the strappy red carpet slip dress, making a name for herself amongst the fashion crowd and mingling at magazine parties with the likes of Donatella. With the Noughties came that Versace dress, worn for the Grammy Awards in 2000, and her status as a full blown fashion icon was set.

Fast forward over 20 years and we’re being served just as much J.Lo realness through her outfits as we were back then (seriously, what’s her secret?). After recreating that Versace dress moment for the designer's SS/20 catwalk show like she hadn’t aged a day, she made it very clear she doesn’t plan on dropping off any best-dressed lists any time soon. And her looks throughout 2021 have only gotten even better.

Of course, her best accessory this year has been Ben (and that deserves its own article), but let’s focus on the clothes for now, shall we? We’ve seen some epic red-carpet moments, no doubt set to go down in Jennifer’s history books— from the all-white inauguration suit and her cowboy-inspired Ralph Lauren Met Gala gown to that plunging crystal-embellished dress at the Venice Film Festival.

But it’s her off-duty looks we’ve really been obsessed with in 2021, not to mention they’re a lot easier for us to recreate in our own lives. They range from simple denim focused looks to statement-making summer ‘fits, and that’s part of what makes her wardrobe so great. So, below we’ve rounded up 7 of our absolute favourites and shopped them out so you can get the look too. Thank us later.
