Without a doubt, the J.Crew presentation is one we always very much look forward to during New York Fashion Week. Creative director Jenna Lyons' sartorial mind continues to impress us, and this season is no exception.
You may recall that J.Crew's team announced just a couple of weeks ago that the brand would be taking a few steps back toward their roots: heritage clothing like cashmere sweaters and blazers. This collection aimed to present that heritage in a more contemporary light.
"It is about taking the casual and making it a bit dressy and neat– the boyish a bit more feminine–the classic a bit more unexpected," reads a release from the brand. "It’s a mix of all things J.Crew, because timeless means looking forward as much as it means looking back."
