This has been the year of the it dress, as instead of handbags or shoes, it's dresses that are reaching cult status and selling out. There is a new style that is hard-to-track down — a sleeved knitted dress with a rollneck and dramatic slit on one leg by cult label Jacquemus. You'd be forgiven for thinking an ankle-length rollneck jumper would look a little frumpy, but it's surprisingly slinky thanks to the open slit. The dress comes in a red wine, rust and black colour, and it's hard to find any still in stock. Thankfully Zara is also embracing the knitted dress trend, if you can't find a Jacquemus 'Baya' dress. Keep scrolling to see how the fashion crowd is wearing the dress — and shop more.
Style Notes: Sabina wears the black one for evening with a pearl-strap handbag and a pair of velvet ankle-strap heels.
Style Notes: The dress looks amazing with a belt and necklaces layered over the top.
Style Notes: Adenorah wears her Baya for the day with a Burberry trench coat and a chain belt.
Style Notes: It's not just for winter, as is perfect for those in-between days with a pair of sandals.
