The High-Street Pieces That We Keep Seeing on Instagram This Month

The team at Who What Wear UK pride themselves on uncovering cult items before they've barely even made it to the production line. We're keen, to say the least, and a great portion of our time is spent documenting and analysing the Instagram posts of the thousands of cool women we follow on Instagram for high-street sightings.

In fact, we have WhatsApp groups and Slack channels dedicated to these affordably priced power pieces, and we want to update you on them as soon as is humanly possible (aka after we've bought our faves) each and every week.

Our skills are so attuned that more often than not, we'll have an inkling over a certain piece before it has hit the big time on social media. Sometimes, you'll find a flurry of brand-specific action due to a paid activation or natural desire to wear a particular thing or label. But other times, it'll be a slow and steady accumulation of saved posts that start to make a trend clear to me. Especially when a vast array of influencers start favouring the very same items over a longer period of time. Either way, please trust that we're on it.

Right now, there are some beautiful new-in spring items making a strong bid for inclusion in this gallery. From a new Topshop co-ord that's set to spike and an ASOS blouse we think is going to become an editor staple, to a checked dress that looks way beyond its high-street price tag, keep reading to see my picks of influencers wearing the latest high-street items.

Style Notes: The striking green and pale pink print on this Topshop co-ord has caught the eye of many-an influencer. It's so easy to put together and packs a serious style punch.

Style Notes: I spotted this top on Stephanie's feed and presume it was a designer buy, and I couldn't believe it when I found out it was from ASOS. This is one bargain you shouldn't pass on.

Style Notes: We've seen over 5 influencers wearing this statement crochet top from online store House of Sunny. Whether it's over a bikini or paired with jeans, it's sure to be a summer hols staple.

Style Notes: All the editors at Who What Wear are desperate to get their hands on this checked Kitri dress. We love how Jessie Bush has styled hers with white strappy sandals and a whicker bag.

Style Notes: Apparently it's all about the It top this season, and this cropped blouse is one of the most popular amongst the fashion crowd. With it's lace-up sleeves and midriff bearing cut, this is not one for the faint-hearted.

Style Notes: This outfit makes me very happy, and this is in no small way thanks to the retro-style burnt orange blazer from Mango. Leia styles is perfectly with flared jeans, white tee and beaded bag.

Style Notes: Topshop has a new It dress in town and it is universally flattering. Shopper, meet Austin.

Style Notes: We love how Ada's unbuttoned this prim River Island blouse for a little extra sass. Bring on spring!

Style Notes: If there's one thing we now know, it's that pleated skirts are making a comeback, and this Arket version is the best affordable one out there. Thanks for the tip, Brittany.

Style Notes: Last season, it was John Lewis & Partners's circular bags that really took off. The brand's trend continues with this wildly popular cylindrical number. It comes in so many good colourways.

Style Notes: These cute pastel-coloured mules have been trending all over fashion month. Even if it's snowing, girls simply have to pop these Charles & Keith beauties on.

Style Notes: There has been a lot of #MangoGirls action lately so it's hard to pick just one thing we love, but this zebra-print skirt feels like a very good place to start.

Style Notes: As well as a polka-dot version, this organza pussy-bow blouse from Zara has also been rather popular in pea-green.

Style Notes: Dresses of this calibre usually come with a four-figure price tag. Such is the beauty of & Other Stories.

Style Notes: Always looking cooler-than-cool, Alexis is one of the many fashion insiders who we know owns this wicked Arket leather shirt.

Style Notes: Hannah joins a very cool list of girls who have managed to snap up Grenson's super-popular Nanette boots (as made famous by Holly Willoughby). Luckily, they are available again—for now.

Style Notes: Blogger Josefine H. J has created a capsule collection with Nasty Gal and the cute co-ords have been picked up by her fellow influencing community.

Style Notes: Looking like an ice cream dream, Karina has definitely talked us into this smart & Other Stories blazer.

Style Notes: Reem and many other girls we know currently swear by ASOS's crinkle bikinis for their fit and comfort—not to mention price point.

Style Notes: The high street has clearly gone hard on the blouse trend—there are so many key ones in this gallery. Loving the vintage vibes of this animal wrap-print version from H&M. Nice find, Eni.

Style Notes: This one outfit features so many good high-street items. From the Gap chinos and Mango satin bag to the strappy Topshop sandals and cute knit from Next.

Style Notes: Ecru, beige, tan and brown jeans aren't a replacement for white jeans per se, but they are looking flippin' chic. And available all over the high street right now. These organic cotton ones from Weekday get our vote.
