The Zara Way to Tie a Scarf

On our most recent shopping binge at Zara, we noticed something rather interesting. No, not just the incredibly on-trend offering, but rather a few unique styling tips involving summer scarves. That's right—scroll through the "new this week" section and you'll find a range of thin, lightweight scarves tied a variety of ways as part of the styling for the fall collection.

To get a sense of what we mean, keep scrolling to peep four different ways to tie your favourite summer scarf—the Zara way. Plus, go a bit further to shop more of our favourite skinny scarves of the moment.

The Tight Bow

Channel your inner Pilgrim and tie your scarf in a tight bow, ensuring the loops and ends are at an even length—then just pull the ends down a touch. Just make sure you start your knot farther down from your neck—this is not the choker look.

The Wrap and Loop

Wrap your scarf tightly around your neck, take the ends, and create a loose loop about six inches down from your initial wrap.

The Wrap and Fold

Wrap your scarf around your neck and tie a knot a few inches down from your chin. Then, take one end and fold it over the other.

The Loose Bow

Unlike the Pilgrim bow, this one is a bit looser—where the ends are even more uneven. Tie your bow and pull the ends down a bit to ensure they're longer than the loops.
