How To Get Better Breasts In 5 Minutes

Spillage, back straps that creep north, unruly underwire—these are all signs that you’re wearing the wrong bra size. We had a quick chat with lingerie expert Sarah Shotton, the Creative Director of Agent Provocateur and L’Agent by Agent Provocateur, to fill us in on best breast management, and the bras that will truly take your girls to new heights.

How should a bra that fits perfectly actually feel?

It shouldn’t be noticeable to you, and it should be comfortable, no matter the style or fabric. Translation: It should feel like nothing.

What’s the deal with underwire?

Underwire is truly a personal preference. It depends on how much support you want and the style you’re going for. Soft cups are great as well, but will probably lead to a natural droop after repeated, significant use. Best advice: Switch back and forth between the two styles.

What’s the best bra for a chronic T-shirt wearer?

This totally depends on your bra size. My personal favourite is the Penelope from our L’Agent collection (co-designed by actress Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica). It’s a smooth line and moulded, so it’s good for both big and small breasts. On the other hand, a more risqué 1/4 cup is great for certain special occasions. Statement pieces such as the Annouschka and Whitney, from the Agent Provocateur main collection, look great under a T-shirt as well.

If you need to minimise and lift for larger cup sizes, what’s the best solution?

I don’t like to minimise a larger bust! I would say it’s about the style of the bra. The Demelza, Margot, and Love bras all give great shape to a fuller chest.

What if it’s the opposite problem: wide-set, almost-B cups?

Anything goes with an almost-B, and this is where you can really play around with wearing less coverage or a really full cup. I recommend the Alina, Karen, or Tina.

What if you’re blessed with a 34C?

You’re truly blessed. The world is your oyster.
