A Step-By-Step Guide to Tying Your Belt Like Olivia Palermo

Is Olivia Palermo the queen of accessorizing? All signs point to yes: She already has successful shoe and sunglasses collaborations, and lately, we’ve been especially impressed with her belt game. The self-declared owner of “endless skinny belts” inspired today’s tutorial on three stylish ways to wear your favorite cinchers.

Scroll down for step-by-step instructions (and handy GIFs!) on how to get Palermo’s top three belt looks.

On Palermo: Topshop shirt; Black Orchid skirt.

We love woven belts for this look, so you aren’t limited by punched holes and can get the perfect fit.

Step 2: Put on the belt like you would normally.

Step 3. Take the tail end, loop it across the belt buckle, and tuck it behind the belt.

Tip: Don’t put the buckle through one of the punched holes, so you can get a tight fit around your waist.

Step 3: Take the tail end and loop it toward you.

Step 4: Slip it underneath the belt, just to the left of your buckle.
