There's nothing that says summer quite like linen. Its light, breezy appeal will always transport me back to balmy beach holidays and lazy August weekends. I also think it's one of those fabrics that look super expensive, even on a budget. Case in point: H&M's summer collection is full of premium-looking linen separates that you could easily mistake for designers 10 times the price. We're talking cute co-ords, slouchy trousers, oversized shirts and elegant tailoring—all staples that you're sure to bring out year after year.
I fell in love with the brand's brown skirt-and-top co-ord after spotting it on Rachael Clifton, and as someone who struggles with the standard-issue warm-weather florals, I found it to be a real breath of fresh air. I also have my eye on the sleeveless linen blazer, which would look so chic with tailored trousers and sunnies for a polished work look.
