H&M's Latest Design Award Goes to A Young Brit

To win this year's H&M Design Award was to gain approval from some of fashion's heaviest hitters: Kate Bosworth, Olivier Rousteing, photographer Nick Knight, and Chiara Ferragni all served as judges. And that distinction now belongs to 24-year-old Brit Hannah Jinkins.

According to Fashionista, Jinkins graduated from the Royal College of Art just this year but managed to sell her graduate collection to a London boutique right away. As part of her award, Jinkins will receive roughly $50,000 in prize money and a year of mentorship. Plus, her winning collection will be sold at H&M stores next fall (which is even better because her intricately manufactured runway pieces - some of which are available below - are understandably in the high echelons of designer price tags). Not too shabby for a 24-year-old!
