Role: Brand Planning Manager
CLIQUE, Inc. publishers of WhoWhatWear, MyDomaine and Byrdie is seeking a Brand Planning Manager with a successful track record of developing integrated marketing plans and programs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Brand Strategy team to concept, develop and create robust programs for various advertisers and categories. He/she is responsible for translating clients’ marketing and advertising objectives into media strategies and is accountable for the planning and tracking of all media plans.
-Work along side Integrated Marketing/Brand Strategy Managers to build cohesive plans and programs based on advertiser objectives across all categories
-Develop, strategize and present media plans from inception to completion
-Manage client requests (i.e., plan changes, budget changes, market place information, specs, building out timelines)
-Have intimate knowledge of the client(s) business/brand, competitive environment, industry trends and their overall marketing plans/goals
-Provide POVs on various media topics and provide a creative and strategic approach to the creation of media plans
-Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
-Develop multiple plans while working with tight deadlines and turnaround times
-Generate internal insertion orders based on finalised plans
-Assist with building of decks where needed
-College degree (Marketing or Communications preferred)
- 2+ years media planning experience at either a media agency, publisher, or advertising agency. Digital experience is a must.
-Direct client contact experience with major brands
-Experience creating media programs and the ability to articulate strategic foundation for their development
-Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
-Ability to answer client questions and prepare recommendations that proactively address any concerns
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present ideas in front of internal teams and clients
-Strong organizational skills, great attention to detail
-Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
-High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
-Experience in traditional marketing and current knowledge of trends and innovations digital and social media
-Familiarity of Media Tools and third party marketing research such as comScore, Doubleclick, Prisma preferred
-This is a full-time position located in Los Angeles, CA
-Reports to: Senior Manager, Brand Planning
