This week is high-street week here at Who What Wear UK, and there are five women in particular in this country who always find the best pieces on the high street: Monikh, Erica Davies, Ada Oguntodu, Sophia Rosemary and Alexis from Style Memos. These influencers fly the flag for brands like Marks & Spencer, Topshop and Zara every single day, so we had to ask them about the new-season pieces they're most excited about. Below they share with us the eight pieces they're going to invest in this season, which altogether forms a list of 40 pieces destined for cult status. The M&S croc-effect shoes, H&M checked jacket and Mango satin orange bag, in particular, are high on our wish lists.
London-based influencer Monikh tends to stick to browns, deep greens, dark reds and ecru shades, and she's continuing this theme into winter. On her shopping list is a chunky brown Mango jumper, strappy Zara sandals and a beautiful leather coat from Massimo Dutti.
Ada Oguntodu is a queen of the high street, and she always wears bold colours and playful prints. It's safe to say that she has fun when she's getting dressed. For the new season, she's eyeing up an H&M blazer, a pink Mango cord suit and many more standout pieces.
Alexis of Style Memos
On the other end of the style spectrum, we have Alexis from Style Memos, who often wears white shirts, oversized shirtdresses and a lot of black. She's introducing some colour into her winter wardrobe, however, with a purple Zara jumper and an orange satin bag from Mango.
No one makes us shop quite like Erica Davies. As a former fashion editor, she has a real eye for the next It high-street piece. We particularly love the bright pink John Lewis jumper she has on her shopping list.
Manchester-based influencer Sophia Rosemary is a jeans-and–T-shirt (or cords and T-shirt) kind of girl, and she's one to follow for brunch outfit ideas. She's found the most amazing pair of mock-croc shoes from M&S.
