The street style crowd tends to wear the likes of Prada and Bottega Veneta during fashion month, but during London Fashion Week, there have been a number of hero high-street items that also got the photographers snapping. Our editors largely wore a mix of contemporary brands with high-street gems—highlights include a pair of amazing cream knee-high Zara boots worn by Kristen Nichols, a fringed jacket Joy Montgomery picked up at H&M and a mint trouser suit from ASOS that I found online.
But outside of our team, I spotted lots of other amazing high-street pieces, such as a patchwork Topshop slip dress and a leather Arket shorts and shirt set. The hero piece, however, has to be the pair of "ugly" sandals which I spotted every single day of London Fashion Week: Kurt Geiger's Orsons. I wore them with a navy suit on one day, and I saw them at least eight other times paired with everything from tailoring to midi dresses.
